Con-Techie is proud to break our months-long blog silence (sorry 'bout that) from the University of South Carolina's Amaco Hall, where the Palmetto Open Source Software Conference is just getting kicked off. With me are Molly Oakley, Zenko from Charleston Linux User Group, and a smattering of attendees from ColaLUG.

the New York Times). I’ll be live-blogging the keynotes and tweeting in
my account (kg4gwa) on Twitter.
"The room’s already at least 2/3 full — not bad for an early morning
session that will go for two hours. The music is mellow (rather than
the dance-floor techno-rock that seems mandatory for most speeches
these days) and my coffee is starting to kick in. Should be a good
morning…" Read the rest here
